Toastmaster for the evening – Susan Martin

Opening:

After Iris Schultz opened the meeting and led attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance, she turned the gavel over to Manuel Glaze.

Club News:

Manuel announced the exciting results of the Area 40 Humorist Speech and Evaluator Contest. BET members Don Kovach (humorous speech) and Mike Costa (evaluator) won in their respective categories. Lynn Blake also won for humorous speech in her other club area. Next, all will attend the division contest level.

Club dues deadline is NOW.

6-month membership (Sep 2011 thru Mar 2012)

TI dues $36.00; BET dues $12.00 = Total $48.00

1-year membership (Sep 2011 thru Aug 2012)

TI dues $72.00; BET dues $18.00 = Total $90.00

Make checks payable to Brentwood Evening Toastmasters (for either $48 or $90). Please mail it to Treasurer Mike Costa.
