on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Tuesdays of each month.

Toastmaster for the evening – Janet Schreibman

Opening:

Dasie Schulz opened the meeting and led attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance, then introduced BET President Manuel Glaze.

Club News:

For those who missed the past Toastmaster’s Leadership Institute, a make-up session will be held on January 12th at Dollar General in Goodlettsville from 5 to 9pm. BET officers meeting is scheduled for the third week in January at Ruby Tuesday’s in Brentwood. We wish all members and guests a very happy holiday and safe travels.

Toastmaster for the evening – Mike Costa

Opening:

Manuel Glaze called the meeting to order and led attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance. He then explained a departure in the traditional meeting format in lieu of the holiday party. Three speeches would be given, however other meeting elements would be eliminated so that members could socialize and enjoy their meals. No evaluations were conducted and no awards presented.

Two achievements were announced:

James Justice earned Silver Advanced Communicator

Cindy Kubica earned another Competent Communicator badge

Toastmaster for the evening – Dan Michaels

Opening:

Michael Moryc opened the meeting and led attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance, then introduced BET President Manuel Glaze.

Club News:

Manuel invited officers and members to attend the upcoming Leadership Conference in Goodlettsville at Dollar General on Dec. 3rd. He announced the potluck holiday party at the church for the following meeting on November 29th. Members were encouraged to bring a dish of choice.

Manuel welcomed our visitors, then discussed holiday party options and asked for member input. He then recognized Keith McLusky for earning an Advanced Communicator Silver award.

Manuel welcomed our visitors, including our Area 40 Governor Ellen Blix who is a member of the HCA Artful Articulators club. He also extended congratulations to Don Kovach, who placed second in the division’s Humorist Speech contest, and to Dasie Schulz who earned an Advanced Leadership bronze designation.
