Club Business:

• We were delighted to welcome two members back who were missing for a good while - Emilie Filler and Azieb Araya. They plan to rejoin the club and begin participating again.

• President reminded members of the Division Contest at our venue on Thursday, October 25. He will serve as judge representing our club.

• There is a fifth Tuesday meeting next week. Tawanda (VPE) solicited volunteers to fill rolls for that meeting.

In reviewing the Club Success Plan and dues update, the focus was on our lack of
members, Currently we have only 10 paying members, and only 2 or 3 of those who
have not currently paid might be returning. This led to concern about whether Pathways
was really a hindrance or a help. Some of the officers find it convoluted and difficult to
navigate. As Pathways guide, Susan Martin expressed a willingness to conduct more
training as the club wishes.

We will discuss possibility of an Open House at our next Officers meeting. Right now
we need to concentrate on preparing Guest Packets, and New Member Packets. Skip
and Janet will work on this.

The next Officers meeting will be held before our December meeting on December 11.

• President announced an officers meeting for October 25 at 6:00 pm

• Division D contest will be held at our venue on October 25, if approved by the church.

• Winter TLI will be in Cookeville on Saturday, December 15. It will include the Toastie Awards.

• Area Director Kraft encouraged us to use MeetUp to help promote our club.

We had about as many visitors as members present. Visitors participated fully in Topics and one of them won! All were invited to return for a visit and to join.
