Toastmaster
for the evening – Chris Meador
Opening:
Marc
Smith opened the meeting in our usual space, the Good News classroom
of Forest Hills UMC, and led attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance.
He then turned the gavel over to BET president Mark Bayless who read
the mission of Toastmasters International.
Club
News: The
next meetings are Nov. 12 and 26. The club is planning a going away
party for Andrew Payne after the meeting on Nov. 12 at Chili’s.
Everyone is encouraged to attend.
The
District 63 fall conference will be held in Monteagle on Nov. 1 and
2. A motion was approved to contribute $20 to support the hospitality
suite at the conference. Irma, Dasie and Janet plan to attend.
Since
