Club Business:

• Congratulations to BET member Russ Vantrease for winning Table Topics contest for Area 42 competition and to Deborah Link for winning runner-up in Area 42 International Speech Contest.   

• Instead of our regular meeting place, BET's March 28th meeting will be held at 6pm at the Division Level International Speech and Table Topics Contest hosted at Brookdale Senior Living Center at 910 Murfreesboro Road, Franklin, TN (HWY. 96). All BET members are encouraged to attend and support fellow member Russ at this next level of competition. 

• Our Spring Conference will be held April 21-23 at the Downtown Marriott in Knoxville. Registration information is available on the D63 website.

• We will have our quarterly social gathering at the Brentwood Chili's immediately following our April 11th meeting.

• Thank you to co-chairs Amy Cathey and Jenae Vossburg for coordinating our Open House food.

Club Business:

· Members were encouraged to signup for the upcoming International Speech and Table Topics Contest at the upcoming February 28th meeting. Those members not wishing to compete were encouraged to fulfill vital contest roles.

· BET will host an Open House at the club's first meeting in March (14th). All members are encouraged to bring a guest.

· The club's second meeting in March (28th) will be combined with the District Level International Speech and Table Topics Contest hosted at Brookdale Retirement Center in Franklin (6PM).

• Brentwood Evening Toastmasters reminded club members of upcoming date(s) for the International Speech and Table Topics Contests: at the club level on Feb. 28. Area contest is scheduled for Saturday, March 4 in Murfreesboro at State Farm; Division contest is Tuesday, March 28 at 6pm at Brookdale Retirement Center, Franklin.

• Officers or interested club members should plan to attend upcoming TLI training in Nashville at HCA in Metroplex Center.
  

• Spring Convention will be held in Knoxville on April 21-22, 2017 at the Marriott.
