2.    Area 42 Speech Contest to be held at Forest Hills United Methodist Church, Oct. 10, 6pm dinner, 7pm contest with BET club contestants Susan Martin for humorous speaking and Deborah Link as evaluator.

3.     Division Speech Contest will be Oct. 19 at Brookdale Senior Living Center in Franklin on Hwy 96.

4.    The last D63 Fall Conference will be held Nov. 10 & 11 in Chattanooga at the Doubletree Hotel. Registration is available online on the D63 website.

• D63's last fall conference will be held Nov. 10 & 11 at the Doubletree Hotel in Chattanooga. Registration is available on the D63 website. 
• Club minutes were approved from last meeting. 
• The meeting for Oct. 31 (Halloween) has been canceled.

• BET received its "Select Distinguished Club" ribbon for 2016-2017 from TI
• Our humorist speaking and evaluation competition is next meeting. If you are interested in competing, please contact Susan.
• We will hold an officers meeting at 6pm before our next regular meeting at which time Bill Martin will review our club plan with officers.
• Club dues will be discounted if you pay for a full year in September. Mike will provide details to come.
• D63's last fall conference will be held Nov. 10 & 11 at the Doubletree Hotel in Chattanooga.
• BET will host our Division Speech Contest on October 24.
