• Susan reminded us that we have a humorist speaking and evaluation competition coming up in the near future. If we are interested in competing, we should begin preparing our 5-7 minute humorist speeches.
• Club dues will be discounted if you pay for a full year. We will discuss at future meetings.

Club Business:

·       Induction of all new members is planned for August

·       Approving minutes from our June 22nd meeting has been postponed until our July 25 meeting

·       Quarterly social will be held after our Aug 22 meeting

·       TLI (Toastmasters Leadership Institute) for officers and interested members will be held on Saturday, July 29 at 9:30am at the Center for Spiritual Living at 6705 Charlotte Pike, as well as on Thursday, Aug. 3 at 5:30 at Caterpillar at 2120 West End Ave. BET officers are required to attend one of these two sessions. The club pays registration fee, however you must register in advance, preferably online.

·  All members are strongly encouraged to confirm attendance and role participation on Easy-Speak by Tuesday morning of the meeting date
