• Thank you to all the club members and guests that made Toastmasters a priority on election night!

• Brentwood Evening Toastmasters decided to hold its second monthly meeting on November 22, 2016 regardless of the holiday week due to member desire.

• The club executive committee (officers) met with the Area Governor, Daryl Pace, to discuss club goals and status for the remainder of the 2016-2017 club year.

• We hope everyone will join the Brentwood Evening Toastmasters meeting on November 29th for the club's fifth Tuesday meeting in the month of November.

Club Business:

• Brentwood Evening Toastmasters will host the Division D Humorous Speech and Evaluation contests on October 25th. Please join us as we support Janet Schreibman, our Humorous Speech contestant, and Deborah Link, test speaker for the Evaluation contest.

• Those members wishing to help setup should arrive at 6:00 pm. Registration begins at 6:15 pm and the contest will begin between 6:45 pm and 7:00 pm.

• Many members expressed an interest in having the first meeting of November on the 8th, even though it coincides with Election Day 2016. Members also desired a meeting during Thanksgiving Week. Finalization of the meeting schedule will be announced at the October 25th meeting.
